How wonderful that you're in Paris and how amazing that you wrote so honestly about the bitter and the sweet! Memories will take the edge off the bitter so that it becomes a star of the dish. And the sweet will only get richer over time. I wish you magic. I wish you many more trips back to your beloved Paris and I wish you thoughts of Julia as you wander the places of Paris that she loved so much!
Hi Jaine! I saw the post Dorie G. wrote with the photo of you and thought "Oh no! I have not been keeping up and I have to see what she's up to before she leaves! " So here I am, admiring your gorgeous photography and your heartfelt writing. What a pleasure!
I can relate to the cold. Pre-pandemic I taught food writing in November in Chinon, then went to Paris for 10 days. OMG so cold! I am wearing my Paris wool knee socks right now to remind me.
Of course you can't wait to be home with your friends. It's totally understandable. I hope you look back on this time with fondness.
❤️❤️❤️
