Here, within the pages of my kitchen journal, I intend to share recipes, food chronicles, and a glimpse into the story of my life—how I, following in Julia Child's footsteps, left the heart of the Brazilian Amazon, moved to snowy Boston, learned English through cookbooks, ended up winning a cooking competition, and eventually found myself stirring pots at Le Cordon Bleu Paris. Phew!
